Other Computer Tuning
Carolina Auto Masters can also tune aftermarket fuel injection controllers such as FAST, Accel DFI v6 and v7, Megasquirt, Big Stuff3, VAFC, SAFC, etc.
Prices range from $100 per hour for small changes, to $500 for ground up complete tunes on highly modified vehicles.
Installation Services
Our shop labor rate is a competitive $110 per hour, and we offer flat rate installation packages of everything from a throttle body, headers installation, camshaft, cylinder heads, all the way to a new motor assembly. And much more important than just turning wrenches, we have the experience to help you pick the right parts to work with your goals and combination. And of course tune it all after it's installed. We have a 14,000 sq ft installation facility with 10 lifts, and most cars stay inside for the duration of work.
Also, through a partnership with Hemphill Racing Engines, CAM will custom design, build, install and tune a fast, strong and reliable motor from a stock rebuild to a C5R based 427. Recent builds have included 2 engines in excess of 800 rwhp, 3 in excess of 700 rwhp, and 4 in excess of 600 rwhp, and 5 all motor LT1's in excess of 430 rwhp. We are also doing more and more crate motors, built to your specifications and either shipped to you or available for pickup.
Custom Camshaft Design/Production
We work with some of the best and most secretive camshaft houses in the counrty to bring you custom camshafts well matched to YOUR goals. These are not the industry standard off-the-shelf Comp Cams grinds, these are lobes that make power all through the rpm range, not just at the high rpm ranges. (Unless those are your goals!)
