Carolina Auto Masters is conveniently located in downtown Durham, NC, close to Interstates I-85, I-40 and just off the Durham Freeway (NC 147). Sometimes Mapquest does not give the best directions, so these might help make sure you get here and not lost in the maze of one way streets in downtown Durham. Let me be more strong with that. Mapquest will get you lost!

Directions Raleigh and points East and South (via I-95):
Take I-40 West through Raleigh towards the RDU Airport, go past the airport and take exit 279, which is really more of a split, it's the Durham Freeway (NC 147 North). Take the Durham Freeway to exit 12A, Fayetteville St.
Top of the ramp, take a right. Get left lane, go through a light, a RR track and see a turn lane on the left, all within 100 yards.
At the turn lane, turn left on Ramseur St. go past Hood St. on the right.
Turn Right on S. Elizabeth St. on the right (second right).
S. Elizabeth is 1 block long, I'm 1/2 way up on the right, red brick building close to the street.
Directions from Greensboro and other points North/West (including I-85 South and Charlotte):
Take I-40/85 and when you get to the split in Hillsborough stay on I-85 North.
About 5 miles after the split take Exit 172, the Durham Freeway (NC 147) "To Downtown Durham" (this is really more of a split than an exit).
On the Durham Freeway, take exit 12 (Mangum/Roxboro).
At the first light (Mangum) after the off ramp go straight, down a hill.
at the second light (Roxboro) turn LEFT onto Roxboro St.
You'll go through 1 light and then get into the right hand turn lane at Hendrick Chevy.
You'll turn right at Dillard St. and follow alongside the dealership. You'll come to a light at the edge of the dealership (Pettigrew) and go straight through that light, over RR tracks, and then to the second right, Peabody St (just past Rosa's Soul Food Cafe) -- Peabody is 1 block long, at the end of the block you'll be pointing right at my front door, which is 113 S. Elizabeth St.
From points North on I-85 (Henderson, NC Tidewater Va, Washington DC, etc):
Take I-85S through Durham to the 15-501 BYPASS exit (this is just past Hillandale Rd.) DO NOT TAKE 15-501 Business (Roxboro St.)!!! Once you take that exit get into the right lane, and take a quick exit towards the Durham Freeway (NC 147) South.
On the Durham Freeway, take exit 12 (Mangum/Roxboro)
